FAQ's

General Program

Why should I choose My Little Hands over other parenting programs, day cares, or pre-schools?

Because the journey begins before birth. My Little Hands guides you from pregnancy through your baby’s first three years with Montessori-based practices. Instead of waiting until school age, you learn how to create the right environment at home, respond to your child’s sensitive periods, and nurture independence step by step.

What does the program guarantee?

By engaging in the program, you and your child will experience:

  • Stronger bonding and emotional security, beginning in the womb.
  • A calm and prepared home environment.
  • Confidence in supporting milestones like crawling, walking, and first words.
  • Independence in daily life—self-feeding, dressing, and simple household tasks.
  • Meaningful family time, where every activity becomes learning.

Do you provide all the materials?

Yes, the Little Hands Kits cover each stage:

  • Prenatal: topponcino, fabric making, journaling tools.
  • 0–12 months: mobiles, rattles, textured objects, baby-safe mirrors.
  • 1–3 years: practical life tools, language cards, sensorial materials.

Parents may need to add a few everyday items (like bowls, trays, or spoons), which are simple to source and explained in the guide.

How long does the program run?

The program supports you from pregnancy up to your child’s third birthday. It is divided into stages:

  • Pregnancy – preparing emotionally and physically.
  • 0–12 months – supporting movement, language, and bonding.

1–3 years – guiding independence, self-care, and exploration.

Can I take breaks in between?

We encourage steady progress, since babies and toddlers thrive on consistency and routine. But if breaks are unavoidable (health, travel, family needs), we provide ways to restart smoothly without losing the rhythm.

Newborns and toddlers make a lot of mess—should I still involve them in daily activities?

Yes! What feels like “mess” to adults is purposeful exploration for children. From a toddler pouring water to a baby mouthing toys, these are sensorial experiences that build focus, coordination, and independence. With patience and the right setup, the mess turns into learning.

Is it too late if my child has already crossed certain stages?

Not at all. While sensitive periods (like language or order) are strongest at particular ages, your child will always benefit from Montessori-based guidance. Our program adapts for each stage so parents can make the most of where their child is now.

Parent & Family

How will this program help me as a parent?

The program doesn’t just give you activities for your child—it gives you peace of mind. You’ll learn how to:

  • Reduce stress by understanding your child’s needs.
  • Create daily routines that work for your family.
  • Build confidence in handling common challenges like tantrums, feeding, and sleep.

What role does my partner play?

Your partner is encouraged to join workshops and activities. From prenatal bonding (singing, talking, touching the belly) to toddler care, partners play a huge role in supporting both the mother and the child.

Are grandparents and nannies included?

Yes! We offer special grandparent and caregiver workshops, so everyone involved in raising your child understands how to nurture independence, respect, and emotional connection. This creates harmony at home and consistency for your child.

How do I manage my own emotions when parenting gets overwhelming?

Parenting is joyful but also demanding. We provide tools for mindfulness, self-care, and stress management—because a calm parent creates a calm child. You’ll also find support in the My Little Hands community, where sharing experiences with other parents makes the journey lighter

Not at all. The activities can be done in your home language. The goal is consistency, clarity, and conversation.

What will my child learn here?

Children practice dressing, washing hands, brushing, and combing—simple but powerful steps toward independence.

At what age should I introduce these activities?

Even toddlers can begin with small steps, like washing hands or brushing with assistance. The materials grow with your child’s abilities.

Why should toddlers do household chores?

Practical life activities—dusting, watering plants, wiping a spill—give children a sense of responsibility and belonging.

Isn’t it more work for me as a parent?

Yes, it requires patience at first. But in time, children become helpers at home, reducing your workload and boosting their confidence.
